Doing It On The Phone And The Artist's Way

I just had a great conversation with a truly magnificent woman I'll call Theresa on the phone. I don't know yet if she knows that she IS magnificent, but who she is will carry her a long way. Who will Theresa on the phone become? That will take her even further and enable her to help so many more people than she is capable of helping in her current circumstances.

Do you know who YOU will become? Are you ready to accomplish your goals? Do you know if those goals are good goals for you?

I recommended that Theresa on the phone read The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.

You may not have met me yet. You might be one of those people who will never meet me or speak to me. Read this book. No, DO this book - even if you have no intention of speaking to me. That is, DO this book if you really want to accomplish your goals or if you want to figure out what your goals are. Oops, no humor. Or did I? I'll have to work on that.

Making It Real

Hello!

Here's the first post of UpwardPath.blogspot.com. Ready to go to the next step in your life? Me, too.

A willness to learn and grow, one foot in front of the other, someone you can tell about your progress, and PRACTICE will get you there. Just like me and humor in my writing. Practice. Hmmm...drawing a blank in the humor department. I'll leave you with these quotes.

“Mark Twain and I are in the same position. We have put things in such a way as to make people, who would otherwise hang us, believe that we are joking.”

~ George Bernard Shaw

“It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.”

~ Mark Twain
